Surah An Nas

Surah An Nas is the 114th chapter of the Holy Quran, revealed in Makkah. It consists of 6 short yet powerful verses that hold deep spiritual meaning. This Surah is also known as a “Surah of protection” because it teaches us to seek refuge in Allah ﷻ from every todaydua.site form of evil, whether visible or hidden. قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ مَلِكِ النَّاسِ إِلَـٰهِ النَّاسِ مِن شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ الْخَنَّاسِ الَّذِي يُوَسْوِسُ فِي صُدُورِ النَّاسِ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ

📖 English Translation

Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer, who whispers into the hearts of mankind, from among jinn and mankind.

کہہ دو! میں پناہ مانگتا ہوں لوگوں کے رب کی، لوگوں کے بادشاہ کی، لوگوں کے معبود کی، اس وسوسہ ڈالنے والے کے شر سے جو پیچھے ہٹ جاتا ہے، جو لوگوں کے دلوں میں وسوسے ڈالتا ہے، چاہے وہ جنات میں سے ہو یا انسانوں میں سے


🌟 Importance of Surah An Nas

Surah An Nas holds a special place in Islam as it is one of the Mu’awwidhatayn (the two protective Surahs, along with Surah Al-Falaq). It reminds us that only Allah is the true protector and that no one else can save us from harm. By reciting this Surah, we admit our dependence on Allah and seek His shelter against Shaytan’s whispers and harmful influences.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ used to recite Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An Nas before sleeping to protect himself from evil. This shows the Surah’s great power and blessings for every believer.
