Tahajjud namaz is one such nafl ibadat which brings the Muslim closer to Allah Ta’ala. It is recited in the last part of the night, when most of the people are in deep sleep. At this time Allah listens to the prayers of his servants and grants their forgiveness. In the Qur’an, the mention of this namaz is found in Surah Al-Isra and Surah As-Sajdah. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Tahajjud namaz is the honor of a mumin.”

اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الحَمْدُ، أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، أَنْتَ الحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَقَوْلُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ إِلَهِي، لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ

O Allah! All praise is for You, You are the Maintainer of the heavens and the earth. All praise is for You, You are the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and whoever is in them.

اے اللہ! تمام تعریفیں تیرے ہی لئے ہیں، تو ہی آسمانوں اور زمین کا قائم رکھنے والا ہے، اور تمام تعریفیں تیرے ہی لئے ہیں، تو ہی آسمانوں اور زمین اور جو کچھ ان میں ہے ان کا رب ہے۔
